Resolving a soil compliance matter on ALR farmland
A Richmond farmland parcel sat under both municipal soil-and-fill regulation and the Agricultural Land Reserve, with an open compliance issue that could not close until the land’s condition was assessed, corrected, and properly documented. The owner needed a qualified Professional Agrologist to take the file from open question to defensible closure — including oversight of the corrective work, not a report alone.
Titrin AgriSoil Solutions ran the file end to end. We began with a site inspection to establish existing conditions, then provided P.Ag. oversight of the soil remediation works as they were carried out. Drawing on experience across both the ALC and the City of Richmond, we shaped the corrective work and record-keeping to the receiving authority’s standard from the outset. With remediation complete, we prepared a closure report documenting the work performed and the resulting site condition, suitable for submission to the municipality — giving the owner a clear, professionally supported path to resolving the compliance file.
