Our Role

Titrin's construction division delivered the concrete and earthworks scope on this build — formwork, footings, poured foundations and slabs, retaining walls, and in-floor radiant rough-in — under the firm's in-house licensed builder and general contractor, who held the building credentials and managed the trades, equipment, and schedule. Where the property carried an Agricultural Land Reserve or municipal overlay, Tishtaar Titina, P.Ag., handled the agrology and approvals so the foundation work stayed aligned with what was permitted.

Outcome

The foundation and concrete works were completed to provide a sound, level base ready for framing on new residential and agricultural structures, with footings, walls, and slabs formed and poured under a single accountable construction lead. The work is representative of the division's concrete and earthworks capability across Metro Vancouver.

Deliverables

  • Site excavation and earthworks sequenced for foundation construction
  • Formwork, footings, and poured concrete foundations
  • Foundation and floor slabs, including in-floor radiant heating rough-in
  • Concrete retaining walls where the site required grade retention
  • Coordination of inspections and any required ALR / ALC / municipal approval conditions

Foundations built right, from the ground up

For new residential and agricultural buildings across Metro Vancouver, Titrin’s construction division delivers the concrete and earthworks that form the base of the build: excavation and site preparation, formwork and footings, poured foundations and slabs, retaining walls, and in-floor radiant rough-in set into the slab before the pour. This project is a representative example. The work was led by Titrin’s in-house licensed builder and general contractor, who prepared the estimate, engaged the concrete and excavation trades, and managed the sequence from breaking ground to a level surface ready for framing — with the heating rough-in built into the floor rather than retrofitted around it, and quality checks owned by a single construction lead at every stage.

Scope matters on foundation work. Titrin’s crews build to the structural and geotechnical design provided by qualified engineers, and detailed retaining-wall, drainage, and load design stays with the engineer. Titrin is also a Professional Agrologist practice: on properties inside the Agricultural Land Reserve or under municipal soil and fill conditions, the same firm handles the agrology and approvals, so siting, grading, and fill obligations identified up front carry through into how the foundation is built. One coordinated team, from approvals to a finished base, for landowners and developers across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and Vancouver Island.
